Javan Coaching

Individual Therapy
A space to process what's heavy, and build the tools to carry it differently.
Sometimes the work isn't just about strategies and forward momentum. Sometimes you need to go deeper, understand where a pattern started, and process what it's cost you. That's what therapy is for.
Therapy consultations are available to Pennsylvania residents only.

MY APPROACH
Evidence-based support
grounded in real life.
With over 13 years of clinical experience, my approach combines CBT with a deep understanding of what it actually looks like to be a woman navigating motherhood, identity, and relationships today. This isn't theory — it's practical, honest, and built around you.

1
Awareness
We start by identifying the stories and patterns shaping how you show up, what you tolerate, and what you tell yourself you deserve. You can't change what you can't see.
2
Boundaries
We untangle the guilt, the people-pleasing, and the conditioning that's made it hard to take up space. You learn to ask for what you need without apologizing for it.
3
Alignment
We build strategies that actually work in the realities of your life, not a perfect version of it. You leave with tools you can use the same day, and come back to for years.
Areas I work with
Motherhood identity shifts
The loss of self that happens when you become someone's everything, and the work of finding yourself again.
Perfectionism
The standards that became a cage, and learning to tell the difference between what genuinely matters and what's just habit.
Major life transitions
Career changes, relationship shifts, becoming a parent, losing a parent, moving through the seasons of a woman's life.
Postpartum adjustment
The vulnerability of early motherhood and the nervous system patterns that form to cope with it.
People pleasing
The conditioning that taught you love means making yourself small, and what it looks like to unlearn that.
Relationship challenges
The resentment, the distance, the feeling of being unseen by the person you chose. Understanding your role in the dynamic.
Anxiety
The low hum of worry that never switches off, the mental rehearsing, the what-ifs that follow you everywhere.
Divorce and separation
Processing the grief, the identity loss, and the rebuilding that comes after a relationship ends.
Self-worth and confidence
Rebuilding a sense of self that isn't built on what you do for others or how well you hold everything together.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Honest, practical,
deeply supportive.
This isn't a space where you vent for 50 minutes and leave feeling the same. Sessions are collaborative, direct, and focused on real movement. You'll be challenged, but never judged.
I work best with women who are ready to do the work, not just talk about it.
